I booked this property the morning of staying due to staying in an awful place in Rome beforehand. Finding the property was easy, when walking in the person at reception was wonderful. So welcoming, warm and friendly. He was very informative and circled areas on a map for us to visit, where to eat and where not to eat. Most importantly the places to be cautious of when walking at night (super impressed). The key was able to be left at reception for safety, optional of course. The room was beautiful. Spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy and the shower was hot with great water pressure. The location was so ideal. Very close to the Vatican and a metro station for any other travels. There is a restaurant below/next door which was lovely but quite pricey for small portions and English is very little in there which wasn’t too much of an issue. The blinds were VERY blackout! They were great. The street wasn’t too noisy. The windows blocked out street noise when closed. Big TV and a little fridge. Plenty of storage and a safe. Loads of towels.

I had been traveling with a group from California..but I got sick and needed to leave the tour and get well. I found Hotel San Valentino online. It was an easy reservations..the location of the hotel was a benefit...the staff were friendly. helpful... the weather was warm.. and AC was being repaired... I asked for a fan and staff immediately provided one for me. I never had the housekeeping come into my room, but they always provided me with toilette paper and fresh towels when I asked. On the day I left the morning staff were helpful finding a cab...when i arrived staff was helpful with a map of finding places to visit.

Location is great, just 2-3 minutes from the metro, 5 minutes from the bus stop. It is a quiet, nice neighbourhood with restaurants, shops in 2-3 minutes distance. One of the main market areas with Apple Store and many cool shops is in 25 minutes walking distance. Vatican is in 8 minutes walking distance. The staff are really friendly, helpful and honest. Toilet was a blessing with adequate space, good facility. Bed is very comfortable.

The hotel gives you the city feels of Rome. You can walk around the city from the hotel. A lot of restaurants, coffee shops, even bars are nearby. The room is well kept and clean. The staff are also great. While there are some who do not speak English well, they find ways to assist and attend to your request. There is an available bar in the hotel if you just want to chill and relax in the wee hours.

Location is great, near to metro or bus and restaurants, also you can walk to attractions. The street was very quiet. The room was cleaned every day and the bed was comfortable. Very nice personal and very good english at reception. In one of the days we stayed, there was smoke smell in the room but it disappeared by airing out. There were no problems with the hot water.
